DOWN

The Nordkapp 500 down sleeping bag is made with a filling made of Polish duck. The down to feather content is 91/9, and the elasticity is 700 cuin. We also have to brag – we fill our sleeping bags in Poland!

FOOTBOX

We are changing our sleeping bags for you! The footboxes in the form of a bottom will soon be replaced in this model with a more comfortable “shark fin”.

Description

The thermal parameters of this sleeping bag were estimated based on laboratory tests of 9 different models of Fjord Nansen sleeping bags. That’s why you can rely on our recommended temperatures. You can read more about this in the article TEMPERATURE TESTS OF SLEEPING BAGS – THE KEY TO GOOD SLEEP.

Temperature range:

Note: in the name we give T lim – this is the lowest temperature at which a “standard man” can sleep comfortably. Women or people who get cold easily should be guided by the thermal parameter T comfort when choosing a sleeping bag.

Temperature ranges according to the EN 23537 standard – they refer to a standard man and a standard woman after average effort.

NOTE! Sometimes it may happen that the feeling of cold will be different for different people. The way we feel cold is also influenced by factors such as: fatigue, hunger, poor health, previous hypothermia, age, metabolism, body fat thickness, etc.

  • Upper comfort limit (T max) – the temperature at which a “standard man” does not sweat, and excessive temperature does not disturb his sleep.
  • Comfort (T comf) – the temperature at which a person is in thermal equilibrium and does not feel cold. This value refers to a “standard”, well-fed woman, after average effort. Women should be guided by this parameter when choosing a sleeping bag.
  • Limit temperature (T lim) – the lowest temperature at which a “standard man” can sleep comfortably. Men should be guided by this parameter when choosing a sleeping bag.
  • Extreme temperature (T min) – exceeding this value causes the risk of hypothermia and means conditions in which one can survive for a maximum of six hours (parameter based on the feelings of an “average woman”). This temperature should not be taken into account when buying a sleeping bag.

lekki i ciepły worek do spania – koniecznie puchowy.
