  • Filling with a 93/7 hydrophobic goose down with an elasticity of 800 cuin.

  • The down used to fill sleeping bags is washed and impregnated in the production process, which gives it additional elasticity.
  • Strategically placed down according to thermal zones.
  • No hood
  • Inside the sleeping bag, at the bottom, there are two loops for attaching the insert (this will prevent it from sliding out when leaving the sleeping bag)
  • Zipper of the renowned YKK brand, on the left side
  • The bottom of the sleeping bag is opened with a welt

Temperature range:

Note: the term T lim – means the lowest temperature at which a “standard man” can sleep comfortably. Women or people who freeze easily should use the T comfort thermal parameter when choosing a sleeping bag.

Temperature ranges according to EN 23537 standard – they refer to standard male and standard female after moderate effort.

ATTENTION! Occasionally the feeling of cold may be different for different people. The way you feel cold is also influenced by factors such as: fatigue, hunger, malaise, earlier hypothermia, age, metabolism, thickness of adipose tissue, etc.

  • Upper comfort limit (T max) – the temperature at which the “standard man” does not sweat and excessive temperature does not disturb his sleep.
  • Comfort (T comf) – the temperature at which a person is in thermal equilibrium and does not feel cold. This value applies to the “standard” full woman after moderate effort. Women should be guided by this parameter when choosing a sleeping bag.
  • Limit temperature (T lim) – the lowest temperature at which the “standard man” can sleep comfortably. Men should be guided by this parameter when choosing a sleeping bag.
  • Extreme temperature (T min) – exceeding this value causes the risk of hypothermia and means conditions in which it is possible to survive up to six hours (parameter based on the feelings of an “average woman”). This temperature should not be taken into account when buying a sleeping bag.

Description

Ultra small, ultra-light or, in other words, ultra handy. The Svalbard 150 Ultra light Hydro sleeping bag is the lightest proposition in our collection, intended for everyone who has had the opportunity to sleep outdoors in a warm climate. Designed as a tourist quilt, it will be perfect for warm summer nights in a hammock, or all year round in hostels or staying with friends, and thanks to the high level of down compression, the packed sleeping bag takes up little more than half a loaf of bread.

Water-repellent goose down, i.e. impregnated down with increased hydrophobic properties, will bear moisture better, absorb water more slowly and dry faster. Thanks to this, you do not have to worry, as in the case of classic down, about the contact of the sleeping bag with moisture and the feather sticking together. Sleeping bags with hydrophobic down are also better able to withstand possible washing.

Like the other thinnest down models in our collection, the Svalbard 150 UL Hydro also uses a puller that opens the sleeping bag with full access to the legs. This is one of the more practical functions that can be added to a lightweight sleeping bag. Thanks to this, you can move around the camp without leaving your sleeping bag, it is easy to increase air circulation. Best of all, if you plan to use the Svalbard 150 UL as a booster during your harpagan rush, you can easily jump into your sleeping bag and warm up while napping without taking your shoes off. Taking into account the nature of summer accommodation, we decided to give up the hood in a sleeping bag, which usually remains unused and disturbs at night.
